He graduated from The College of Wooster and received B.A.
He was hired by B. F. Goodrich and worked in the employee relations department and industrial relations department. Prior to that, he was hired by Cuyahoga Community College as Director of the Non-Traditional Summer School Program. This program was the first of its kind at the time. In 1984 Advanced Federated Protection was opened. The company quickly received the Business of the Year award from Mayor George Voinovich; City of Cleveland. The company has served over ten Fortune 500 companies thus far.
He was awarded the first Homeland Security Sponsored contract in Cleveland after 911.
He also has been the keynote speaker at three different trade school class graduation and served on five Boards including Abundant Life Farms and The Black Contractors Group to name a couple.

He has worked as Vice President & General Counsel on Shongum Oil & Gas, Inc. Prior to that he was Senior Counsel, Legal Department at East Ohio Gas Company.
Apart from getting a Post Graduate Degree in Law from Georgetown University in 1983, he achieved JD/Law from Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1977. Additionally, he has BA/in Physics from Lincoln University, PA

Lisa Nunn has served as the Executive Director of Let’s Grow Akron since November 2012. Prior to this role, Lisa served as Let’s Grow Akron’s Program Director under the organization’s founder, Elaine Evans. Community organizing and educating around growing and preparing food began as a backyard and then evolved as a community gardener and volunteer with Let’s Grow Akron. Lisa’s background in Arts Education has contributed to the creativity needed to grow food in the community and the many roles required of the Executive Director of a grassroots non-profit organization.
